Our Proposals for the Bath Place Site

Bath Place Community Venture is pleased to make publicly available our proposals for the original Bath Place site.

As you may know, we have presented our bid proposal to Warwickshire County Council in the hope of retaining the site for the community of Leamington and rebuilding on what remains of the buildings in order to preserve both it's heritage and public function.

We are hoping that with the support of our partners and members we will be able to make a convincing and realistic case for acquiring the site and beginning the arduous but necessary process required for it's continued role as an integral community asset. Most importantly, it will give us the opportunity to continue in a secure base with which to carry our work into the future.

We have consulted widely in the local community and we feel not only is there an existing need but also a real hope that we will be able to continue as an organisation. Bath Place has a long and storied history in the community of Leamington and we are doing everything we can to make sure we can continue to do so into the future.

Our submission to WCC included the following documents (all apart from the covering letter are fairly large PDF files):

We would like to thank Sjolander da Cruz Architects, Greenwood Projects, Ecos Maclean, Keith Mitchell, Caroline Taylor, The Social Investment Business, The Royal Leamington Spa Building Conservation Trust, Locality and WCAVA for all their support.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions, ideas or feedback.
